Why iPhone battery icon is showing yellow color?

The battery is always a critical subject for mobiles, smartphones, or tablets and the iPhone is not an exceptional case. Although iPhone is a name of quality and user-friendly device, so every time when it updates its operating system, it adds a unique feature. In IOS 9, it gives low power mode. Generally, it has three stages of battery Green for a full charge, Red for empty stage, Grey or Black for other stages, and in IOS 9 it introduces yellow which indicates the Low power mode or Energy-saving mode stage smartphones or tablets and iPhone

WHEN IT HAPPEN?

When your iPhone reaches 20% or 10%, it prompts the low power mode. Now user either can cancel it or continue with the mode, If the user chooses the low power mode that means energy-saving mode is enabled.

In the low power mode or energy-saving mode networking activity and performance get reduce like it turned off the background applications or features like mail fetching, but the networking speed does not get affected at all, which means it also does not affect the upload and download speed either in WIFI or LTE settings.

FOLLOW THE STEPS TO FIX

Although this is a great feature of the iPhone still some people do not like it because of its color, so to turn off it follow the following steps.

  • Go to Settings -> Battery
  • Tap the switch next to Low Power Mode.
